Chief Complaint- A 54-year-old male patient reported to the OPD in the department of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics, Saraswati Dental College and Hospital, complaining of pain with tenderness in lower right anterior teeth.
Examination- On examination the tooth was tender on percussion, on radiographic examination a periapical radiolucency associated with the mandibular right central incisor was seen of an approximate size of 3 X 3.5 mm.
Treatment- non-surgical endodontic treatment was initiated and following obturation of the canal a periapical surgery including curettage, apicectomy, and retrograde filling with MTA was performed.
Follow-up- Follow up was done on 1 week, 4 weeks and 2 months. Satisfactory healing was noted.
