Dr Ipshita Potlia is an expert in Epidemiology and Biostatistics. Her thrust areas include Research Methodology, Planning and Evaluation and Preventive dentistry. She has conducted several studies and has helped both under graduate and post-graduate students plan and organize research studies of various types. She has also evaluated and analyzed data for over 75 post-graduate students for their thesis across disciplines and from various parts of the country.
She is a reviewer of many journals and keeps herself updated regarding the review procedure by regularly attending the reviewers workshop organized by Craniofacial Research Academy, KGMU.
She has done an Advanced course in SPSS to better apply the concepts of statistics.
She has successfully completed ICMR’s Basic Course in Biomedical Research and a Health Research Fundamentals from National Institute of Epidemiology (NIE) Chennai.
She has delivered two guest lectures at National level, one of which was for Medical under-graduates and post-graduates.
She has also contributed as an Author in a text-book of Oral Surgery published by Elsevier.
