On 26th May 2026, Basic Science Day 2026 was celebrated at Saraswati Dental College & Hospital as a vibrant platform for scientific curiosity, innovation, and interdisciplinary learning.
The Department of Basic Science was privileged to host distinguished clinicians and academicians Prof. (Dr.) Rakesh Kumar Dixit, Prof. (Dr.) K. L. Dange, and Prof. (Dr.) Aditi Singh, Col. (Dr.) N.S. Puri, Col. (Dr.) Anil Jha. A major highlight of the event was the plenary lecture delivered by Prof. (Dr.) Rakesh Kumar Dixit on the transformative role of Artificial Intelligence in healthcare, which provided valuable insights into the future of medical and dental practice.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from First and Second Year BDS students of Saraswati Dental College & Hospital and B.Sc. Nursing students of BSM College of Nursing. Their poster and model presentations showcased creativity, scientific temperament, and innovative thinking.
