The Department of Oral & Maxillofacial Pathology & Oral Microbiology successfully organized a Triple O Clinicopathological Meet on 13th August 2025 from 1 pm onwards at New Conference Room, 4th floor SDC&H. It was an interdisciplinary academic event that brought together three integral specialties of dentistry: Oral Medicine and Radiology, Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, and Oral & Maxillofacial Pathology. The primary objective of the meet was to foster collaborative clinical and diagnostic discussions to enhance patient care, academic understanding, and diagnostic accuracy.
The meet commenced with a welcome address by Prof. Dr. Shweta Singh(Professor, Department of Oral & Maxillofacial Pathology , who emphasized the importance of interdisciplinary coordination in managing complex oral cases.
The event featured a series of clinical case presentation by the post graduates of all the three departments , each followed by an in-depth discussion involving clinicians, radiologists, and pathologists. These sessions provided a comprehensive overview of the case from diagnosis to its management, allowing for a 360-degree understanding of the condition discussed.
Notable presentations included Multidisciplinary Management of Oral Potentially Malignant Disorders, Clinicopathological Correlation in Odontogenic Tumors and
Surgical Approaches in Jaw Lesions with Radiologic and Histopathologic Insights.
Each aspect of the case presented was followed by a panel discussion, fostering active participation from postgraduate students, faculty members, and residents from all three departments.
