National Dental Register (NDR) Portal was launched by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of India on 5th February 2024.
NDR is a dynamic database of all the dentists in India, which captures data of dental professionals covering their journey in dentistry. NDR provides a unique identifier to all the dentists practicing in India, after verification from the respective State Dental Council. Once verified, the professional also gets registered in the Healthcare Professional Registry (HPR).
NDR addresses challenges such as interstate movement of dentists, duplicate registration across states, and complex renewal processes.
Additionally, it enables citizens to identify dental professionals verified by the State Dental Councils, thereby facilitating the improvement of dental care delivery across the country.
The link to the NDR website is available on the DCI Website: https://dciindia.gov.in.
The NDR User Manual is also available on the NDR website: https://ndr.abdm.gov.in.
