Introduction and Education

Dr. Hemant Mehra is an experienced and highly skilled Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon with over a decade of expertise in diagnosing and treating oral and maxillofacial diseases. With a Ph.D. in the assessment of the coronoid's role in jaw disorders and mandibular movements, Dr. Mehra combines clinical excellence with a strong focus on research. He is the Professor and Head of the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Saraswati Dental College, Lucknow, and has contributed significantly to the field through numerous presentations, publications, and workshops.

 He has expertise in the field of Dental Implantology, Temporomandibular Joint Surgery, Maxillofacial Trauma Management, Distraction Osteogenesis Surgery, Maxillofacial Pathology Management.

Dr. Mehra has published extensively in national and international journals, contributed to books, and has been actively involved in various research studies. He is a life member of the Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons of India (AOMSI) and has served as a reviewer for reputable journals.

He has numerous achievements, includes, Scientific paper presentations at AOMSI conferences, Research guide for over 15 studies, Executive Committee Member of U.P. AOMSI,Honorary surgeon for Life Line Express (Cleft Lip & Palate treatments)
He has numerous articles on topics such as odontogenic keratocyst, TMJ ankylosis, maxillofacial trauma, and surgical reconstruction techniques, published in prominent journals.
He is co-author in the book of Neuralgias of Orofacial Region, Advanced Trauma Life Support, Management of Medically Compromised Patients in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, Coagulopathies in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, Bone Augmentation Chronicles: Techniques and Application in Implant Surgery
