World Geriatric Day / International Day for Elderly

Department of Prosthodontics and Crown & Bridge celebrated World Geriatric Day on 1st October 2024 (Tuesday). On this occasion, they organized an "Awareness talk" in the Prosthodontics PG seminar room and workstation. Raising awareness of the problems with oral health and dentures that elderly people face, and maintenance of oral and denture hygiene was the main objective of the talk. Dr. Devendra Chopra ( Prof and Head) Educated them about the value of good nutrition and dental health and how these things affect their general well-being and encouraged them to receive better care from their family members. The event was concluded by giving away denture storage boxes to all the Geriatric Patients present as a token of love and care for elderly people. Along with the ongoing Geriatric Patients, the faculty members, postgraduates and Interns of the Department attended the awareness program. Dr. Kunal Sah (Acting Principal & Dean Pg studies) , Dr. Pradyuman Mishra (Vice -Principal) and Dr. Col. Anil Kumar Jha ( Dean UG studies) graced this occasion with their presence. The department is always thankful to the Management for their constant support and encouragement.
