Department of orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopeadics and Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery conducted an interdisciplinary program on “Orthognathic surgery” on 2nd December,2023. Collaboration between specialists is crucial throughout the entire process, starting from the initial diagnosis and treatment planning. Together, they create a comprehensive treatment plan tailored to the patient's specific needs.
The interdisciplinary approach maximizes treatment effectiveness, minimizes risks, and enhances patient satisfaction. By merging expertise from various fields, this approach offers comprehensive care, resulting in improved function, aesthetics, and overall well-being for orthognathic surgery patients.
