The Orthodontic Study group of Lucknow comprises of the Departments of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics in the various colleges of Lucknow. It includes the faculty and students as members. The Department at Saraswati Dental College is also a part of the group. The group is involved in conducting various activities to further education in the field of Orthodontics amongst the students at Undergraduate and Postgraduate stages. Orthodontic Conclaves, Continued Dental Education Programmes, and Discussions are organized by the Group for this purpose.
To create awareness about Orthodontics the Group also conducts awareness events along with the Indian Orthodontic Society.
On the 24th of March 2019 following a meeting of the Executive members, Dr. Ragni Tandon was elected as the Convener of OSGOL for the year 2019-2020.
The faculty and her students at the Department rejoiced her selection by congratulating her and presenting her with Flowers.
