The Department of Orthodontics at Saraswati Dental College is an active member of the Orthodontic Study Group of Lucknow (OSGOL) and our Head of the Department, Dr.Ragni Tandon is the Convener. The efforts of the Department in celebrating World Orthodontic Health Day on the 15th of May,2019 were recognised by the Indian Orthodontic Society. A certificate expressing the same was presented at the 54th Indian Orthodontic Conference, at Bhuveneshwar, Orissa.

This year a variety of events were Organised and conducted by the Department to celebrate World Orthodontic Health Day. These included Essay writing and Wire bending competitions for the Undergraduates. An awareness talk was held in the college Campus and an Awareness march was held in Hazratganj along with the other members of OSGOL.
