A poster competition on the topic "Diabetes Awareness in regard to Oral Health" was organized by the Department of Periodontology on the occasion of World Diabetes Day on 14th November 2021. The competition was organized under 3 categories: Faculty section, Postgraduate section and Undergraduate section. Participants were asked to submit their entries in the department one day prior i.e. 13th Nov 2021 which was judged by internal and external judges on 14th November 2021.

The external and internal judges for this program were Dr. T. P. Chaturvedi, President, IDA U.P. State; Dr. Ashish Khare, President, IDA Lucknow Chapter; Dr. Arvind Tripathi, Professor & Head, Department of Prosthodontics & Crown and Bridge, Saraswati Dental College, Lucknow and Dr. Kunal Sah, Professor & Head, Department of Oral Pathology, Saraswati Dental College, Lucknow. Total 30 participants submitted their posters on the given topic. The program was appreciated by all the faculty members and guests.
