Vishwa Hindi Divas

Vishwa Hindi Divas, also known as World Hindi Day is celebrated on January 10 every year. It was first celebrated on January 10, 1975 in Nagpur . Hindi our  mother tongue, comes from a Persian word  “Hind” meaning “the land of Indus.”  It is spoken in India, Trinidad and Tobago, Nepal, Guyana, Tobago, and Mauritius.
The main aim of celebrating it, is to make it internationally recognized and widely accepted.
