-
Research Wing
The Clinical oral pathology is a clinical setup including dental chair units, autoclave and instruments for examining, diagnosing and performing biopsies. The department is well known for its oral cancer detection centre (OCDC), and other activities such
as Anti-tobacco drive. The Laboratory equipment includes highly sophisticated equipment like automatic tissue processor, fully automatic microtome, automatic furnace, slide warming table, to name a few. The department has a sufficient number of monocular, binocular and trinocular research microscopes required for the undergraduate and postgraduate studies.
RESEARCH ACTIVITIES
The research wing is equipped with microscopes with photomicrography, projection microscopes, image analysis software, digital photographic camera and digital electronic balance and so on. The number of researches are being conducted in the department. A project on oral premalignancies has been taken up by Dr Anjali Singh under the able guidance of Dr R M Mathur.
